韦恩斯伯勒V.A. – 2023年3月, 费什伯恩 Military School (FMS) recognized the following senior 学员 who earned full-tuition Army ROTC scholarship offers beginning 秋天 2023-2024 academic year. 学员内森·瑞安, 艾登鲍曼, 威廉Branham, 瑞安·莱格, 肖恩·罗斯, 还有约翰·布拉胡特, 2023届毕业生, have received the full-tuition scholarship.

Army ROTC scholarships are competitive, merit-based national scholarships, granted to high-performing high school seniors who have excelled academically, 运动, 作为领导者. ROTC scholarship winners have demonstrated an ability to excel as problem solvers 和 as members of teams committed to a mission bigger than themselves.

Winners of this scholarship receive 100% tuition for either three or four years at one of the hundreds of colleges offering the program. Throughout the ROTC program, cadets receive world-class leadership training to prepare them to serve as Army officers upon college graduation. 

营长, Cadet Lieutenant Colonel 肖恩·罗斯, 2023届毕业生, will be attending Indiana University on a three-year ROTC scholarship with a major in international studies at the Hamilton Lugar School. 罗斯说, “My journey to earn this scholarship had lots of ups 和 downs but to be honest, it had more downs than ups. I didn’t know if I was going to be able to receive the scholarship 和 live out my dream. I knew I had to better myself inside 和 outside the classroom 和 as a person in general [to earn it.]”

Many of these 学员, 2023届毕业生, have accepted the ROTC scholarship 和 will join the program at their chosen university.

Cadet Captain 瑞安·莱格, 2023届毕业生, earned the full-tuition scholarship. He plans to attend The Citadel in Charleston, S.C. 和 will study Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Programming.

莱格说, “To earn this scholarship, it took hard work not only in the academic setting but also required strong mental, 物理, 和 extracurricular activities. During my time at FMS, I am most proud of what the faculty 和 staff have done for me. Whenever I needed to work through something, there was always someone who was there willing to help me be the best version of myself. Without them, I would not be in the same position as where I am today.”

FMS offers a military career prep program for young men interested in pursuing a military career. The program includes individual counseling, liaison with military recruiters 和 admissions, 指导, 物理 fitness preparation, 和 application assistance. The school is dedicated to helping young men achieve their goals 和 preparing them for the careers 和 lifestyles they are passionate about.
